Members of the Rocky Mountain Saab Club of Colorado participated May 22, 2016 in a Saab drive through the beautiful mountains around Colorado Springs, CO. Nine Cars and thirteen participants. We met at the Garden of the Gods Visitors Center at 9:30 for a group photo shoot. We proceeded through the breathtaking sandstone rock towers of the Garden. Proceeded to the West side of Colorado Springs on Gold Camp Road. Gold Camp road was the Railroad Bed that connected Cripple Creek & Victor to Colorado Springs during the Gold Rush. Heading down towards the Broadmoor Hotel we visited Hellen Hunt Falls and Seven Falls for a spectacular view. BJ’s Brewery is our favorite place to eat when we visit Colorado Springs. We gathered for a few Brews and Food for an end to a remarkable morning. It is always fun driving as a group with fellow Saab enthusiasts. Thank Paul Bottone for scheduling this drive.
